Ingredients:
- 200g dry fish (cleaned and soaked)
- 2 tbsp Marathi Masale’s special curry powder
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 4-5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 2 green chilies, slit
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander for garnish
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
- Add onions, garlic, ginger, and green chilies. Sauté until golden brown.
- Add tomato puree, turmeric, red chili powder, and Marathi Masale’s curry powder. Cook until the oil separates.
- Add soaked dry fish and mix well. Cook for 10-12 minutes on low heat.
- Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with rice or bhakri.
